Conference on Tibet in Livorno, Italy – 14 June 2014

On the occasion of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visit to Livorno, Italy, the President of the International Campaign for Tibet, Matteo Mecacci, will be one of the speakers in the debate “Tibet. A Wounded Civilization” (Tibet. Una civiltà ferita) on 14 June at 18:30 in Goldoni Theatre in Livorno, Italy.

Further speakers will be:

– Thubten Wangchen, Member of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile

– Claudio Cardelli, President of the Italian Tibet Support Group “Associazione Italia-Tibet”

– Maria Grazia Rocchi, Member of the Italian Chamber of Deputies

– Franco Battiato, Musician and filmmaker 

– Nyima Dhondup, President of the Tibetan community in Italy
