Protest in Brussels on the Tibetan National Uprising Day – 10 March 2022

March 1, 2022 ・ International Campaign for TibetEvent

On Thursday 10 March, Tibetans and Tibet supports in Belgium will reconvene
in Brussels in solidarity with the Tibetan people!

10 March 2022 marks the 63rd anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day of 1959, when thousands of Tibetans took to the streets of Lhasa, Tibet’s capital, to protest China’s invasion and occupation of their homeland. On this day every year, Tibetans and Tibet supporters around the world commemorate those who perished as a result of their nonviolent resistance and express their solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet who continue to suffer under China’s repression.

JOIN US on 10 March in Brussels at Schuman (12h), the Chinese Embassy (13h30) or Carrefour de l’Europe (15h) to show your support for the Tibetan struggle for human rights and justice!

The protest is organised jointly by the Tibetan Community in Belgium, Lungta Belgium, Hiking 4 Children and the International Campaign for Tibet. More details: https://www.facebook.com/events/310477821060848.
