4th European Solidarity Rally For Tibet – 10 March 2019 – Brussels

Tibetans and their friends from across Europe will convene in Brussels on 10 March this year for a mass solidarity rally commemorating the Tibetan National Uprising Day of 1959. The event will be an opportunity to highlight the continuing plight of Tibetans in Tibet and to seek renewed support in Europe for the non-violent freedom struggle of the Tibetan people.

On 2 June, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang will be in Brussels to take part to the 19th EU-China Summit. On this occasion,the Tibetan Community in Belgium, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, FIDH and the International Campaign for Tibet are organising a protest to call on the EU to take a stand on the deteriorating human rights situation in China.

ICT-UNPO-FIDH conference in the European Parliament – Chinese counter-terrorism policy: Impacts and dangers for Tibetans and Uyghurs

The International Campaign for Tibet, in collaboration with the Unrepresented Nations and Peoples Organization (UNPO) and the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk (ALDE) and MEP Thomas Mann (EPP), will be convening a conference at the European Parliament entitled ‘Chinese counter-terrorism policy: Impacts and dangers for Tibetans and Uyghurs’ on 8 February 2017.
